The Link Company Announces a New Employee Stock Ownership Program 

The Link Companies, founded in 1985 as The Southern Link of GA, just finished its 35th year and is making a major announcement. The nationally recognized agency, owned by brothers Fred and Brad Rosenkampff, has been sold. However, in typical Link Companies fashion, the sale is progressive and offers a plan that benefits the family business to insure growth and continued success for the next 35 years and beyond. The company is now an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program), meaning the Rosenkampff brothers sold the business to The Link Company’s employees. Fred and Brad will remain in their current leadership positions of CEO and CPO respectively and there are no company changes across their leadership and sales teams, showroom staff, or temporary positions. Fred Rosenkampff: I am humbled and proud of our position as one of the premiere sales agencies in the country and I’m confident in our momentum and success moving forward.  By implementing 100% employee ownership, we’ve set an immediate, positive course for our future. To my knowledge, ours will be the first rep agency ESOP in the Gift Industry. I know The Link Companies will continue to grow and be more profitable with these new employee-owned parameters as the day-to-day operations will remain the same.”

The Link Companies, like nearly every business, faced a challenging 2020. However, the company experienced a strong year and accomplished a major achievement with a fall campaign that raised more than $100,000 for 2 charity organizations. As the company prepares for the upcoming show season it is well-positioned for a big 2021. Brad Rosenkampff states, “The new arrangement affords us the opportunity to reward valuable team members at retirement and helps solidify a working plan for many years to come. We’ve always looked at our company as a big family so this was a natural way to structure something that protects our greatest asset, our people. And the future is now.”
