What year did you get started in the industry?
I grew up in my family's wholesale and retail business and started my own career in the fashion and gift industries in 1999.
Tell us about your family, significant other, children, and pets:
I am a proud mother of 2 servant leaders; Nathanial, a physical therapist in Greenville, and Rachel, a high school teacher for students of Autism here in Suwanee. I am nana to Boone, my daughter's Golden Retriever, and Tilly my son's Bernadoodle. My husband Michael and I also have 2 rescue cats (Dutch and Holland), and 2 rescue Daschunds (Duke and Daisy).
Outside of work I run Special Twist, a non-profit I founded with my daughter in 2003. Special Twist is a nationally, competitive cheer and dance program for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will also find me volunteering my time with Bert's Big Adventure, SNs360, and serving on the board of Keystone Village, a living community being developed for those with disabilities. I am also a huge sports fan; you will often find me in front of the TV or in a stadium rooting on my ASU Sun Devils, the Georgia Bulldogs, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, and the Atlanta Braves.
